Few things make me angry....

but one thing that does is guys who think that sending messages on facebook or myspace are acceptable ways to have serious conversations. Especially those who you don't communicate with on either site prior to such conversations. While my immediate reaction is to send a message back telling a certain person how socially awkward he is, I have a better plan. I will just let him sweat it out until he calls me. Or at least texts me...

It's ok, I was about to tell him I didn't want to see him anymore, anyway. :)

Whew!

Wow, this has been a crazy week. I left my classroom a mess and I will not go back until Sunday. I am looking forward to getting away from work for awhile. I don't know what I'm going to do tonight, but it's going to be fun.

Cheers!

Days go by...

Recently I have begun reading a few blogs with regularity, which made me want to tap back in to what I had started quite awhile ago. I was shocked to see that the last post I wrote was about Winter Carnival last year...an event that is occur on Friday! A lot has happened in a year, but I'm still quite happy.

Here's to hoping you are to!

It's the weekend...

And I am so excited!!!

This week has been busy, but what week isn't. Tonight is the Winter Carnival at school. It is always so fun to see the kids outside of the classroom. Last year it was a completely overwhelming whirl-wind experience of kids and parents bombarding me for two hours. I love having that interaction though, and am very excited for it.

Another bright point of the weekend, Mishelle is here! That means a Michael Bolton dance party, going out with fun, fun people, and late night food! I love my job, but I am very grateful that I can pretend to be a college student on the weekends. As Tim McGraw says, "I'm too young for growing up just yet."

Have a fantastic weekend!

Rain Rain, go away

This weather is making me worthless. I wasted 45 minutes of valuable time after school today talking to other teachers. I could have finished a lot of work in 45 minutes. Also, my apartment looks atrocious. I cleaned for a few minutes this evening before that got old.

School went well today. My children are always fantastic, they make me smile. Sometimes they do not follow directions. This drives me a little crazy. I think I am going to walk in tomorrow morning speaking spanish and see if they notice. My guess is no.

My big plans for the night are to watch Idol with Jess, read some more Anna, and cuddle with the cat. It's been awhile since I could do all of these things. I like living here in my own little world. This is my fortress, no need to worry about all the rest.

All for you...

Hi friends!

Lisa is suffering from a lack of MySpace and Facebook, so I offered to help her out. You may not find 5 year olds or cheerleading too exciting, but that's my life. It makes me smile and I am exhausted at the end of every day.

Right now it's time for tea and a book and sleeping. I'll leave you with this...

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO what a ride!
